1954
Our journey began in 1954 with the establishment of a showroom and workshop in Surabaya by the couple Mr. (late) Samuel and Mrs. O.E. Pandjaitan. then a Limited Liability Company was created, PT Perusahaan Usaha Commerce and Industry “AGUNG CONCERN” was established on July 20 1954. The company’s domicile for the first time was on Tunjungan Street No.8-10 Surabaya.
1956
Became a Chevrolet Dealer (General Motor) in East Java, by establishing PT Tunjungan Motor, which has offices on Jl. Visit No. 8-10 Surabaya. and representative office in Jakarta. Its main activity is as a distributor of motor vehicles and spare parts and workshops for the Chevrolet brand. Then PT Tunjungan Motor also handles the Opel and Holden brands.
1957
Established a subsidiary PT ACO Veem in Tanjung Priok, which handles Inklaring – Uitklaring, perveeman activities. Warehousing and transportation. In this year, the company also succeeded in obtaining a plot of land at Port II, Tanjung Priok, which was then built a +/- 6,000 m2 cellulosic warehouse and an office area of 400 m2. In its development, due to government policy in 1960, which stipulated that the total number of perveeman companies was only 25 companies, PT ACO Veem had to merge with two other companies, which later became PT EMKL Agung Raya, and is still operating today.
1958
Upgraded the status of PT Agung Concern’s representative office in Jakarta to a branch office of PT Agung Concern and obtained import and export permits. Import activities include importing motor vehicle spare parts, built-up and semi-built motor vehicles for the Chevrolet (GM) and Toyota brands, as well as importing cement and reinforced concrete. Export activities include exporting sugar, leather, citronella oil, and seaweed to Japan and Europe.
1959

Agung Raya was founded to support export and import activities. Its journey in logistics services began, handling various aspects, from cargo and shipping, warehousing, container warehouse management, to transportation.
1972
Started the Toyota business as a dealer for Toyota Astra Motor in Surabaya and Pekanbaru. Along with the development of the automotive world in Indonesia, and with experience in selling Toyota brand motorized vehicles, this year AgungConcern is trusted to become the main Toyota dealer.
1977
Agung Concern moved its headquarters from Surabaya to Jakarta and opened a branch in Denpasar, Bali. Furthermore, we went a step further by becoming an official distributor of Toyota spare parts.
1978
Opened Toyota branch offices in Jambi and Bengkulu, and has purchased land in Jambi and Bengkulu to build a show room, office and workshop.
1988
Armed with mature experience in the transportation business, we built Agungrent as a transportation service provider company that serves companies and individuals.
1990
On March 7 1990, PT Transilander Agung Muda was founded to focus on land public transportation services. On April 19 1990, the management of Agung Concern was officially led by H.M Evidence Panjaitan as President Director and M Ilham Panjaitan as Managing Director, replacing Mrs OE Panjaitan.
1992
Agung Automall was established to operate all aspects of our Toyota dealership, and Agung Concern established itself as the holding company.
2012
The establishment of PT. Agung Citra Transformasi (Car Carrier) & PT. Agung Transina Raya (Kapal Roro – MV Ostina) in 2012
2014
Coinciding with Agung Concern’s 60th anniversary, all Agung Concern business units underwent brand name identity changes. Previously known as Agung Automall, the brand name has been changed to Agung Toyota.
2016
On October 28, 2016, the Logistics business units were united under one management, Agung Logistics.
2017
In 2017 PT Agung Tama Raya (Passenger & Fastboat crossing) merged.
2018
In 2018 PT Agung Jasa Logistik started operations (Trucking Box & Wing Box) as well as Strengthening innovation through our subsidiaries and investment in IoT & EV Development business.
2021
Established, PT Agung Lintas Raya in 2021.
