Jakarta, July 20, 2025 — This year, Agung Concern Group celebrated its 71st anniversary which marks a special moment. It has been a long journey filled with struggle, innovation, and dedication to build a solid corporate foundation that has enabled it to survive and grow into one of Indonesia’s leading business groups.

Since its founding, Agung Concern Group (ACO) has weathered numerous challenges and changing times with an unyielding spirit. From small steps begun decades ago, ACO has grown into a major group overseeing various business units in the automotive, logistics, vehicle rental, and property sectors, consistently making tangible contributions to society and the nation.

This year, ACO’s 71st anniversary celebration was even more special as it also celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day. The series of activities began with a virtual opening ceremony via Zoom Meeting, attended by the entire Board of Directors (BOD), top management, and all ACO employees throughout Indonesia.

In this moment of togetherness, the Chairman of Agung Concern Group, Mr. M. Bukti Pandjaitan, and the CEO of Agung Concern Group, Mr. Mahatma Ilham Pandjaitan, symbolically cut the tumpeng as a form of gratitude for the company’s long journey that continues to grow and provide benefits to many parties.

Following the opening ceremony, the excitement continued with various activities and competitions participated in by all ACO business units, both at the central and regional levels. These included:

• Mini Soccer match between business units in Jakarta, which was attended by Agung Logistik, Agung Rent, Agung Toyota, and other business units.

• The National Mini Soccer Competition, involving all Agung Toyota branches and ACO business units in various regions of Indonesia.

• Online Chess Competition, which is a strategic competition for employees from various regions.

• Pingpong Tournament at ACO Head Office, which was exciting and full of sportsmanship.

• Online Game Competitions such as Stumble Guys and E–Football, which add enthusiasm and togetherness across generations.

• Gimmick games and creative content, including the Word Parade and a video reels competition with this year’s big theme: “Growing Goodness Together” — an invitation to spread kindness and positive spirits together.

 

Not only focusing on entertainment, Agung Concern also continues to emphasize its commitment to social responsibility through the CSR program “Affordable Healthy Food” implemented in all ACO business units, especially in major cities such as Batam, Bali, Pekanbaru, Jambi, Bengkulu, and Riau. This program is a concrete form of the company’s contribution in supporting the community to have access to healthy food at affordable prices, in line with ACO’s values ​​and vision to continue to empower growth and development for all.

The series of events for ACO’s 71st anniversary concluded on October 28, 2025, coinciding with Youth Pledge Day, with a virtual closing ceremony again attended by the Board of Directors, Top Management, and all employees from various regions. The closing ceremony also announced the winners of each competition category, as a token of appreciation for the enthusiasm and participation of the entire Agung Concern family.

This year’s celebration symbolizes the unity, enthusiasm, and strong sense of togetherness of all ACO employees throughout Indonesia. It is hoped that next year’s ACO anniversary celebration will be even larger, more vibrant, and more memorable, strengthening solidarity and the spirit to continue growing together as a company that brings goodness to all.
