Tapung, July 14, 2025 – Agung Concern, a national group of companies operating in the automotive, logistics, services, technology, and investment sectors, through its subsidiary, Agung Toyota, continues to initiate various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. This time, Agung Concern inaugurated an eco-friendly library at SMKN 1 Tapung, Kampar Regency, Riau, as part of its commitment to supporting education and environmental conservation.
This library was built using innovative materials made from recycled plastic, the result of collaboration with partners providing sustainable construction technology.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the management of Agung Concern, including Berlinton Siahaan (Chief Finance Officer of Agung Concern), Himawan Wahyu Wardhana (Chief Operation Officer of Agung Toyota), Mahmud Fauzi (Regional Manager of the West Region), and Butet Nurman (Branch Manager of Agung Toyota Pekanbaru 4), as well as school and local government officials.
In his remarks, Mahmud Fauzi said that the construction of an environmentally friendly library at SMKN 1 Tapung was part of Agung Concern’s commitment to implementing sustainable CSR programs.
“The construction of this library space demonstrates Agung Concern’s commitment to supporting environmentally conscious education. We hope this facility will provide a comfortable and enjoyable learning space for students and teachers, fostering a culture of literacy in schools,” said Mahmud.
The Principal of SMKN 1 Tapung, Nasrul Amri, also expressed his gratitude and hopes for the continuation of the collaboration.
“We express our deepest gratitude to Agung Concern for their continued support. We hope that in the future, there will be broader collaboration between the school and Agung Concern, particularly in supporting improvements in the quality of education at SMKN 1 Tapung,” he said.

From the regional government ranks, the Deputy Regent of Kampar, Misharti, also expressed her appreciation for the continued contribution made by Agung Concern.
“On behalf of the Kampar Regency Government, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Agung Concern. Every year, Kampar Regency receives attention through Agung Concern’s CSR programs, and today we feel it again. This is tangible evidence of Agung Concern’s commitment to the environment and education in Kampar,” he said.
Meanwhile, Riau Governor Abdul Wahid emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration in efforts to strengthen literacy in the region.
“We welcome Agung Concern’s initiative, which focuses not only on building physical facilities but also on encouraging the creation of active and beneficial literacy spaces for students. CSR programs like this demonstrate the business community’s real commitment to supporting sustainable development, particularly in education and the environment. We hope Agung Concern’s support will continue and have a broader impact on the Riau community,” he concluded.
