KUTA (21/12) — As part of Agung Toyota’s commitment to spreading the Joy of GAZOO Racing (GR) to motorsport and car enthusiasts, as well as car casualists in Bali, Agung Toyota Kuta held an event themed “GR Dress Up Challenge” at the GR Zone of the Agung Toyota Kuta branch on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

The GR Dress Up Challenge is a car modification contest featuring GAZOO Racing (GR) variants using stickers. This contest is open to anyone who owns a Toyota. Participants can express their creativity in modifying their cars, and the event offers attractive prizes.

The GR Dress-Up contest winners are judged based on Best GR Performance, Best GR Branding, Best City Car, Best Couple, Best Fitment, Best Outlook, Best Engine Dress-Up, and Best of the Best. The contest winners are selected by a panel of professional judges.

“The GR Dress Up Challenge series of events is expected to provide an attractive experience that represents the GAZOO Racing brand in Bali. The goal is to enhance the GR brand and products for motorsport and car enthusiasts, as well as car casualists,” said Gullit Ngantung, Branch Manager of Agung Toyota Kuta.

As well as various entertainment and interactive activities related to the GR brand and the facilities at GR Zone Kuta. The GR Zone itself is a special and exclusive area aimed at introducing GAZOO Racing products, including GR variants, GR Simulators, and the GR Collection (Merchandise & Accessories Parts).

Also present in the series of events were a convoy and GR Taxi Drifting. The meeting and starting point was at the GR Zone Agung Toyota Kuta, followed by a convoy to the end point at Klapa New Kuta Beach.

The series of events resumed after the convoy and lunch break, followed by the GR Taxi Drift activity. During the GR Taxi Drifting, Agung Toyota presented a GR 86 unit with a professional drift driver from the KSS Drift Team, Christian Gunawan.

Showcasing special drift action and impressive skills, invited guests and media partners were able to experience drifting driven directly by Christian.

“By presenting GR Taxi Drift, we hope there will be more Motorsport & GR Enthusiasts in Bali. So that Agung Toyota Kuta can continue to be committed to spreading the Joy of Gazoo Racing (GR) and increasing the existence of the Gazoo Racing (GR) Brand more widely to the entire community / especially in Bali,” said Gullit Ngantung, Branch Manager of Agung Toyota Kuta.

The event concluded with a DJ performance and the announcement of the winners based on the GR Dress Up Challenge categories.
